Welcome to Il Pomodoro Italian Restaurant, established 1983, providing a cosy, relaxed and informal atmosphere in which you can enjoy the finest Italian food.
All the dishes served are freshly cooked in the true Italian way, using the best ingredients available and following authentic and tradional recipes. Our multi-choice menu is complemented by a varied selection of delectable wines from all regions of Italy, along with draught Italian beer. In addtiion, we serve our home-made ice creams, which we have been manaufacturing on the premises from fresh, natural ingredients since 1978. You won't find better in the whole of Italy.
All year round we offer set lunch menus and set dinner menus for early evening diners.
Il Pomodoro provides a superb atmosphere in which to celebrate. We can advise tempting menus (sit-down meals or buffets) for birthdays, weddings, christenings and any other fun-filled celebratory event for parties of between 10 and 110. We are very flexible and can adapt menu content and/or budget to suit indiviual requirements.

In April 2010, Il Pomodoro and Italia Ice Creamery will be celebrating their 27th and 32nd birthdays respectively. We have come a long way since those days, when lasagne, penne and cappuccino were innovations and the seating capacity of Il Pomodoro was 32! We have gradually evolved into the restaurant we are today. In over 30 years of ice cream manufacture, we have proudly remained faithful to the traditional recipes and manufacturing process. This means that you can enjoy a genuine Italian ice cream – manufactured on the premises from fresh, natural ingredients – of the same high quality as you would expect in Italy.
